Initial Pelvic Physical Therapy Evaluation
Your first visit is a comprehensive, whole-body assessment focused on understanding you —your symptoms, goals, movement patterns, and lifestyle.
What this visit includes:
Detailed health and movement history
Postural, core, and pelvic assessment
External and internal pelvic floor muscle evaluation (only when appropriate and with your consent)
Education on pelvic health and how it relates to your symptoms
A customized plan of care tailored to your goals
Home Exercise Program
Hands-on manual therapy
This visit sets the foundation for treatment, provides you with exercises/techniques to get started, and helps determine the most effective next steps for your treatment plan.
Follow-Up Treatment Visits
Ongoing sessions are tailored to your evolving needs and goals. Each visit builds on the last, with care that adapts as your body changes.
Treatment may include:
Hands-on manual therapy
Pelvic floor and core coordination training
Movement retraining and exercise progression
Breathing strategies and nervous system support
Education for daily activities, exercise, and return to recreational activites/exercise
Labor / delivery education and preparation from a musculoskeletal perspective
Visits are always one-on-one and designed to empower you with tools you can carry into everyday life.
Care Model & Payment
Pelvique is a cash-based, out-of-network practice. This model allows for longer visits, individualized care, and treatment decisions based on your needs —not insurance limitations.
Payment is due at time of service
Superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement
